The brief

Make the design part of the experience.

I began in my family’s custom-cake business, where artistry and structural design had to work together. The work grew into product design, photography, and marketing across the customer experience.

I created 500+ custom product designs and designed 30+ personalized websites a year for wedding couples, putting each couple’s design, order details, and logistics in one place.

Process

From the first sketch to the full experience.

I began by listening to each client and learning what the occasion meant to them. The first sketch made those conversations tangible and gave us a starting point for feedback.

I carried that vision into personalized wedding websites, keeping each couple’s design, order details, and logistics in one coordinated place.

Photography & content

Capturing Moments in Real Time.

I photographed on site, shared social stories, and delivered polished photos afterward. Bringing photography and publishing into the same workflow helped keep audiences engaged and gave clients a ready gallery of their experience.

Behind the Scenes

Custom details. Shareable moments.

Seasonal pop-ups brought the brand beyond weddings. Product photography and promotional design worked together to build anticipation and support pre-orders.

I turned illustrations into 3D-printed cookie cutters and custom cake toppers, using reusable production files to make custom details more consistent.

A Shared Vision

Creative work, made together.

Styled shoots brought my confectionery designs into a shared vision with other event creatives. I contributed to art direction while exchanging ideas and creating work that could reach new audiences through publications.

Results

Design, with a wider audience.

Original food photography, graphics, and video supported a 40% increase in social engagement. The custom designs and engagement result are separate accomplishments.

The brand earned features with iHeartRadio’s 107.5 The River Nashville, Kentucky Bride, and ChefWorks. I represented the business on Netflix’s Sugar Rush as its cake artist.
